Motion by Mark Scarberr, Mid-Eastern Regional Director, seconded by Mike Sweeney, Vice President, to waive the required Regional Championship participation for Claudia Howard to qualify for the 2026 USCA National Championship

Background: Ms. Howard injured her hip on August 1, 2026, during a workshop; the injury will require orthopedic surgery, which is scheduled for August 13th. Her recovery timeline will be 4-6 weeks post-surgery. This timeline does not allow for her to become mobile and train for the September 4-6, 2026 date of the Mid-Eastern Championship
Ms. Howard has provided a copy of the doctor’s note from her orthopedic surgeon.
