To award the title of “Judge Emeritus ” and all benefits attached to retired USCA Judge Mike Bodnarik

EB #06-23

EB Motion #06-23 – To award the title of “Judge Emeritus ” and all benefits attached to retired USCA Judge Mike Bodnarik

Motion by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, and seconded by Michele Elmore, Secretary, to award the title of “Judge Emeritus ” and all benefits attached to retired USCA Judge Mike Bodnarik.

Background:
Mike Bodnarik has been a USCA member since 1978. He is still active as the President of the Greater Cincinnati Schutzhund Club. Mike became a USCA Performance /Trial Judge in 1986. During his career as a USCA Judge, he actively judged both club, Regional Championships and National Championships, including the 1996 North American Championship and the 1992 and 1996 GSD World Qualifiers. Mike retired from his judge license in 2003. This was before I became Director of Judges, and no records were transferred to me when the former Director of Judges, Mark Przybylski passed away. I can only guess that it was overlooked at the time of Mike’s retirement, and he was not granted “Judge Emeritus.” Mike has contacted me requesting to be awarded “Judge Emeritus.” Based on his bio as a USCA Judge and letter of reference from senior USCA Judge Michael Caputo, I believe he meets the requirements to be a “USCA Judge Emeritus.”
