To approve reimbursement to all active USCA Judges for Annual Working Dog EU Membership.

EB #25-22

EB Ballot #25-22 –  To approve reimbursement to all active USCA Judges for Annual Working Dog EU Membership.

Motion by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ and seconded by Michele Elmore, Secretary, to approve reimbursement to all active USCA Judges for Annual Working Dog EU Membership.

Background: The USCA Judges Program has an element of continuing education that requires all judges to be involved in order to maintain their licenses. I strongly believe this is a large part of what keeps the USCA Judges Program at a level above other organizations and keeps our judges performing at a higher level than judges from other working dog organizations.

As DOJ I continually look at ways to provide additional ongoing education throughout the year and not just limited to our annual judges meeting.

Working Dog EU provides resources from around the world for teaching information in the form of videos of dogs and events that can be used for our continuing education program.

In order for all of our judges to be able to participate/use some of this material requires that they be members. Currently membership is $85 a year.

This motion if passed will allow active USCA Judges to be reimbursed for their annual membership. Only active judges that are participating in continuing education and judging more than the minimum requirement will be approved for reimbursement.
