To approve Regional Championship participation is not required for entry into the 2021 USCA GSD National Championship if the handler / dog team entered and participated (starting in at least 1 phase of the event) in the USCA Working Dog Championships (WDC) in lieu of entering a USCA Regional Championship. Background:
With all the difficulties and complexities that continue due to Covid, and the moving of the USCA Nationals one month earlier, we believe this will help members who would like to participate in the Nationals.
We believe that with the year of Covid and of added expense and complexities of traveling with a dog as well as the increased burden of our qualifying process adding to too many trials in a short amount of time, for a dog to qualify and participate in this year compared to other years.
