EB Ballot: #31-19

EB Ballot #31-19 – Increase the USCA Judges daily fee to $150 per day for judging or travel if on a different day then judging.

Motion by Nathaniel Roque, USCA Director of Judges, seconded Michele Clubb, Secretary, to Increase the USCA Judges daily fee to $150 per day for judging or travel if on a different day then judging.

Background: The USCA Judges daily per diem fee has not increased for more than 4 years. The current fee for authorization of an SV Judge has increased to 150 Eu as well as the daily fee for the judge making it twice the cost to use a SV Judge vs a USCA Judge not including the travel costs.

USCA Judges dedicate time yearly to education and judges meeting and are not compensated, the daily per diem fee for judging or travel day has remained the same for more than 4 years and with the overall costs of living etc increasing this amount will still not compensate anywhere near what most judges give up to volunteer to judge an event.
