Award USCA Judge Zoltan Nagy a Permanent Full USCA Trial/Performance License

EB Ballot #32-18

EB Motion #32-18 Award USCA Judge Zoltan Nagy a Permanent Full USCA Trial/Performance License

Motion: by Nathaniel Roque, Director of Judges, seconded by Michele Clubb, Secretary, to Approve a Permanent USCA Performance / Trial License for Probationary Judge Zoltan Nagy

Background: The USCA Judges Program requires the General Board or Executive Board to pass the motion to grant / award a USCA Judges Permanent License.

This was submitted late to the GBM so it could not be on the agenda and could not be voted on at the GBM.

Zoltan Nagy is eligible at this time this motion is presented to the Executive Board instead of waiting 12 months to the next General Board Meeting, the GBM will still have the right to affirm this decision or request a new vote.

Zoltan  Nagy as a probationary judge has exceeded his requirements and should not have to wait another 12 months to receive his Full License.

The USCA Judges Committee recommends the approval of a Permanent Performance / Trial License for Zoltan Nagy .   He has met and exceeded all of the requirements as a probationary judge.  Zoltan has attended all Judges Colleges and been an active member of our Judges College Conference Calls and Reviews / Continuing Education Program. He has also volunteered his time to perform the long down judges duties and as a “bi richter” at the nationals as well as receiving approval to judge at the WDC. He has exceeded the required 30 trials in less than 3 years  to complete his probation.

By all accounts based in part by email and phone calls from clubs that he has judged trials and their complements of his performance and additional followup and evaluation by the DOJ he has shown himself to be an excellent representative of USCA, a fair and correct judge with the skills and knowledge to uphold the standards of the USCA Judges Program.
