Please note these new rules effecting entries into USCA events
Trial
-
- SV judge event offering an AD
-
-
- New clarification from the SV regarding SV-AD and IGP titles. If your club has dogs entered in the SV-AD and for an IGP title, the trial SV-AD must be run at the completion of IGP trial (same day or next day is permissible). IMPORTANT the IGP entry MUST be listed first in the scorebook and then the SV-AD entry AFTER the IGP entry
- FCI judge event offering an IAD
-
- New clarification regarding events with a FCI judge and offering an AD. The BH-VT title is required for entry into the AD under an FCI judge. Event secretaries MUST record the AD title in the scorebook as IAD (International AD). If a dog is entered in the IAD, it cannot attempt any other titles at the event.
Breed Survey
- Dogs with either a SV/WUSV Hip or Elbow rating of ‘a still permitted’ (a3) born on or after 1/1/2025 cannot be entered for a SV Breed Survey
- Breed Survey information needs to be entered in the dog’s scorebook
- When hosting a Breed Survey, all dogs with a USCA scorebook must have the Breed Survey page completed in its scorebook. This requirement applies regardless of whether the Breed Survey is officiated by a USCA judge or an SV/WUSV-recognized judge.
- Clubs are responsible for ensuring that the Breed Survey page in the USCA scorebook is completed for any dog that has a USCA scorebook. This ensures that the official Breed Survey results are properly recorded in the dog’s scorebook and maintained as part of its permanent record.
USCA-AD, SV-AD and IAD are all accepted for either USCA or SV Breed Surveys. However the BH-VT MUST be completed prior to earning the IAD. The USCA-AD and SV-AD do not require a BH-VT.
Show
- Dogs with either a SV/WUSV Hip or Elbow rating of ‘a still permitted’ (a3) born on or after 1/1/2025 can no longer compete in the Working Dog class judged by a SV judge
