EB Motion #17-25 – To approve the slate of Judges for the 2025 USCA National Championship.

Motion by Nathaniel Roque, DOJ, on behalf of the USCA Judges Committee, seconded by Mike Diehl, DAL, to approve the slate of Judges for the 2025 USCA National Championship.

  1. (Tracking) – Don Yelle,  USCA
  2. (Obedience) – Rinus Bastiaansen, Belgium
  3. (Protection) – Ken Trouton, GSSCC

Background:  The USCA Judges Committee recommends this slate of judges for the 2025 Nationals as qualified and able to provide an excellent and fair evaluation in each of the phases they are responsible for judging.

All judges selected have either judged at Championship levels in their selected phase or have completed a birichter in that phase and judged other phases in a National or World Championship.

The USCA Judges Committee is committed to providing the best-qualified judges for our championship events, benefiting competitors, the sport, and our breed.

The Judges’ Committee of their choosing may also appoint a Head Judge to oversee the event on-site.  The Head Judge for this event will be selected before the entry deadline closes.

The Judges Committee may also appoint a Bi Richter in at least one phase of the event to continue preparing a larger slate of USCA Judges for future Championship Events
