EB Ballot #07-18 Suspend USCA Membership for Mathew Levin pending the outcome of criminal charges filed against him for sexual abuse

Motion submitted by Vadim Plotsker, Vice President and seconded by Nathaniel Roque, Director of Judges, to suspend USCA Membership for Mathew Levin pending the outcome of criminal charges filed against him for sexual abuse.

Background:

On March 21, 2018 Mr Lavin was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault, strangulation, false imprisonment and kidnapping.

Per USCA Constitution and Bylaws Article XL Section 5 the Executive Board can suspend a membership by unanimous vote for “any other conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the Association. 

I am suggesting that Mr Levin’s membership be suspended until the case is adjudicated in the court system.  I also suggest that his name be removed from any USCA club website or any website associated with USCA.
